Our courses offer three levels of study:
The Foundation
level gives students a very good understanding of the basic functions
of programs.
The Enhanced
level allows students to apply the more advanced features available
in most software applications.
The Expert
level introduces students to the most advanced capabilities of programs.
After completing this level, students are well on their way to becoming
“power users”.
All courses are taught on-site on a flexible
schedule designed by the student.
WindowWalk Computer Education is available for classes between
10:00 am and 10:00 pm, Monday through Saturday.
Homework and Quick Reference materials are provided
for each of the sections to give reinforcement of the lessons.
Certificates of Achievement are awarded on successful
completion of a course.
WindowWalk Computer Education allows a maximum number of hours
(e.g. the Word Foundation course has a maximum of 12 hours) for
an individual student to complete each course to ensure complete
understanding of the material. Training continues until the course
is finished or the maximum number of hours is reached.
Office Suite courses can be taken individually,
“mixed and matched” to create a custom course, or as
a package of courses. WindowWalk offers the PowerPoint Foundation
course free when all five Microsoft Office Foundation courses
are taken together as a package.
Other services available at WindowWalk Computer
Education include an hourly rate for specific instruction
in any Windows program and Laptop computer rental
for the duration of a course.
